Aspira Family Focused Support Network | Los Banos

Aspira Family Focused Support Network (FFSN) is an innovative support program that helps families with children who have developmental disabilities and/or special health care needs. Our program assists families in keeping their children with disabilities at home, instead of in group care, by providing them with the necessary tools and resources. Upon receiving a referral from a state funded Developmental Regional Center case manager, an Aspira social worker will contact the family to serve as the program coordinator. We then conduct an initial assessment to evaluate what support the family needs in order to be successful. Our individualized program is tailored to each child and family, and includes training, family meetings, home visits and more – all designed to improve parenting skills and enhance the quality of life for the child and all family members. Since our founding in 1995, we have successfully helped over 100 families complete the program.
