Ashley Swift

She provides telehealth services throughout the state of Maryland. Ashley specializes in working with adults, particularly mothers adjusting to new seasons in their journey, including trying to conceive, pregnancy, postpartum, and empty nesting. She takes a multifaceted trauma-informed approach to counseling, with a framework of person-centered therapy and acceptance-based counseling. Ashley is certified as a National Certified Counselor, a Certified Grief Informed Professional, and a Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapy Professional. She is currently training to become a perinatal mental health provider. Ashley's specialties include depression, stress and anxiety, women's issues, career changes, grief and loss, breakups, separations, and divorces, motherhood, family, and parenting stress, perinatal mental health, family conflict, redefining self-identity, peer relationships and friendships, communication, self-esteem, life transitions, and LGBTQIA+ concerns. Ashley is currently in network with CareFirst/BCBS, Cigna/Evernorth, Johns Hopkins EHP, United/Optum, and Aetna health plans. She accepts cash, HSA cards, and major credit cards as forms of payment.
