McGuire utilizes various modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT), solution-focused, and dialectical behavioral therapy skills. Her goal is to create a welcoming and safe space for clients to promote healing and generate peace. McGuire graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and a Master's in Social Work. She has worked in various settings, including the medical field, client homes, and the school system.
