The Arkansas Governor’s Commission on People with Disabilities (AGCPD) was established in 1985 to promote the interests of Arkansans with disabilities. Our Commission is appointed by the Governor with a majority of members being individuals with disabilities. The AGCPD provides advice and assistance to the Governor in developing policies that address the needs of people with disabilities, works with state agencies and private providers to develop services and supports, and offers information and referral services to those in need. We are committed to promoting the rights and well-being of Arkansans with disabilities.
