About
Annelies has 15 years of experience in the mental health field and utilizes a variety of trauma-informed and evidence-based practices tailored to each person's unique journey. Her approach focuses on helping individuals identify their goals and work through obstacles to attain a more grounded and aligned self. She incorporates EMDR, Somatic Meditation Therapy, and Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) into her practice, as well as elements of Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Polyvagal Theory. Annelies believes that therapy alone is not enough for lasting growth and healing, and encourages her clients to incorporate time in nature, art, music, movement, nutritious food, generous sleep, and connections with a trusted community into their lives. She works with individuals aged 17 and above, as well as children aged 0-6 and their caregivers through CPP, to address depression, anxiety, trauma-related symptoms, and attachment wounds. Annelies is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in NH, a rostered CPP clinician, and trained in EMDR and Integrative Somatic Trauma Treatment.
