With a background in working with adolescents and adults, Amy specializes in treating individuals experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, psychosis, personality disorders, grief, life transitions, relationship and communication challenges, problematic substance use, and existential dread. Located on Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia, the practice offers a client-centered and trauma-informed approach to therapy, incorporating a wide range of treatment modalities, including psychodynamic psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills, Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, and mindfulness and self-compassion practices. Amy's approach is warm, humorous, compassionate, and challenging, supporting clients in developing greater self-awareness and taking skillful action to bring about change.
