Alternative Services, Inc. (ASI) is a non-profit organization founded in 1978 to help the State of Michigan transition from large state institutions to community-based services. ASI has been providing customized, barrier-free, group homes since that time and now serves 300 consumers located throughout the state at approximately 75 sites in Wayne/Oakland/Macomb Counties. Our progressive approach to true person-centered services provides various levels of support to people in a variety of settings and our mission is always To support people to experience meaningful lives.
