Alternative Baseball provides teens and adults (ages 15+) with autism and other special needs the opportunity to play authentic baseball for physical and social skills enrichment on and off the field. Since 2016, Alternative Baseball has inspired personal growth and development through the Authentic Baseball Experience. Participants learn teamwork, sportsmanship, respect, accountability, responsibility, and resilience, skills that carry over for life off the baseball diamond. With programs in a dozen states and counting, Alternative Baseball continues to grow, driven by the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to discover their potential. The organization is looking to expand to communities and neighborhoods who have asked for assistance in starting a chapter/club and joining the organization's network.
