ALMA Family Services | Pico Rivera

Established in 1975, ALMA Family Services is a comprehensive, bilingual service provider dedicated to promoting the quality of life of individuals with physical and/or developmental disabilities and their families. Our mission is to provide quality community-based integrated support services, advocate for the rights of those with special needs, and work with local, state, and federal officials to increase knowledge of the abilities and contributions of individuals with special needs. We offer therapeutic services, mental health services, programs for children with developmental disabilities, after-school programs, aquatics (swim) programs, behavioral health services, family and peer support services, and support groups for consumers with special needs. We have a multicultural clinical staff with expertise in working with individuals and families, and provide medication support through specially trained and experienced psychiatrists. ALMA also serves as a field training site for universities and professional schools throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
