About
She understands the exhaustion of constantly being trapped in 'what if' loops and mental checking that no one else can see. Allison works with teens, young adults, and adults to better understand the OCD cycle, particularly the more internal symptoms that are often 'invisible' on the outside. She integrates a mix of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and relational/attachment-based therapy into her practice. Allison is in the process of training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Her approach is warm and casual, meeting clients where they're at on any given day and allowing them to decide what they need from each session. Allison is passionate about helping clients challenge their inner critics, normalize OCD-related shame, and build self-compassion and alignment.
