Located in Ancramdale, NY, the camps provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment for campers to learn new skills, make social connections, and increase independence. The camps, Camp Anne and The Lodge, are fully wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant. AHRC NYC Camps has been operating for over 50 years, providing summer camp experiences to over 1,000 individuals and much-needed respite to their families. The camps are successfully accredited by the American Camping Association and have annual inspections from the local New York State Department of Health and the New York City Department of Mental Health and Hygiene. AHRC NYC Camps strives to provide a great vacation away from routines and over-scheduled lives, allowing families to take a break from the responsibilities of caregiving.
