At Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) in Panama City, we are dedicated to providing social, medical, behavioral, residential, and therapeutic services to Floridians with developmental disabilities. Established in 2004 as an agency separate from the Department of Children and Families, APD is guided by Chapter 20, Chapter 393, and Chapter 916 of the Florida Statutes. We collaborate with local organizations and private providers to ensure individuals with developmental disabilities and their families are supported in living, learning, and working in their communities. Our goal is to identify the service needs of people with developmental disabilities and provide them with the necessary resources to thrive.
