Since 1994, we have been a consumer-controlled, community-based, cross-disability nonprofit striving to make South Carolina a national model of equitable and inclusive opportunities for people with disabilities. We are the state’s oldest and largest federally recognized disability-led organization, with over three-quarters of our staff and more than half of our Board of Directors being people with disabilities. We practice equity, disability justice and representation, and true inclusion through consumer-driven independence and disability pride.
