She has worked with children ages 4-10 with symptoms of anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, or attachment disorders, as well as parents of children with challenging behaviors, siblings affected by stress in the home, and grandparents raising grandchildren, especially those affected by substance use disorder. Abbie uses a unique approach that combines 'top-down' and 'bottom-up' therapy to help children develop the tools they need to manage their emotions and behaviors. She takes a team effort approach, working with parents to find solutions that work for their child. Abbie's experience includes working in various settings, such as the home, school, day treatment, after-school programs, and daycare.
