When is online therapy a better fit than in-person?
Online therapy is ideal if you:
  • have a busy or changing schedule,
  • live far from providers or have limited transport,
  • prefer the privacy and comfort of your own space,
  • travel frequently or split time between locations.
For many people, this flexibility is what makes it possible to actually stay in therapy.

Is online therapy private and secure?
Reputable online therapy platforms use encrypted connections and secure apps that are designed for confidential healthcare communication. Sessions are held in a private space of your choosing, which can feel safer than a public waiting room.

How do costs compare with in-person therapy?
Online therapy can sometimes be more affordable overall: there are no travel costs, less time away from work or family, and many platforms offer predictable weekly pricing. The value often comes from being able to attend regularly without extra friction.

Have questions?

At A to Z Pediatric Therapy, we understand how important it is for children to develop communication skills. We know that speech therapy is a key focus in early intervention for autistic children and can provide a critical period in the brain for language development. If you’re wondering if your child needs speech therapy, it is almost always recommended for autistic children since many people with autism have difficulty with social communication. Even if a child is very verbal and says a lot of words, they might need to work on communication skills like responding to questions, starting or ending conversation, changing conversation topics, using gestures like pointing, and understanding other people’s body language. If you’re concerned that your child may need speech therapy, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us to learn more. We can provide you with the resources you need to make an informed decision.
Here at A to Z Pediatric Therapy, we specialize in helping children of all ages with their speech and language development. Our team of speech therapists are specially trained in a variety of techniques that can help your child with communication, nonverbal skills, forming speech, understanding questions, discerning facial expressions, understanding body language, feeding, and swallowing. We believe that with the right guidance and our evidence-based therapy, your child can reach their full potential in communication and language development.
At A to Z Pediatric Therapy, we specialize in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, a science-based approach to teaching communication, social, and daily living skills. Our experienced team of therapists and educators are dedicated to helping children and adults reach their greatest potential and develop skills for independence. Learn more about ABA therapy and how it can help you or your family by reading our complete guide.
At A to Z Pediatric Therapy, we believe that Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy can be an effective tool for helping children improve their communication skills, learn productive habits, and reduce harmful behaviors. We understand that parents may have concerns about whether ABA is the right choice for their child, considering the stigma of some ABA providers who look to “cure” autism. To help families make the best decision possible, our team at A to Z Pediatric Therapy has created a comprehensive guide to help them understand what ABA therapy is and how it can be used to support a child’s development without trying to “fix” them or change their individual personality traits.
At A to Z Pediatric Therapy, we understand that it can be challenging to understand insurance coverage for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. We’ve compiled a guide to help you navigate the cost of ABA therapy and understand how to check if your insurance covers this service. Our guide will provide you with the information you need to understand how much ABA therapy may cost and how to determine if you are eligible for coverage. As a trusted provider of ABA services, we are here to help you find the best solution for your child’s individual needs. Contact us today to learn more about ABA therapy and the insurance coverage that is available to you.
