Thoughtful Parenting is a national resource that specializes in providing personalized advice and strategies that are tailored to the unique needs of children with developmental delays, ADHD, ASD, and other special needs. We partner with caregivers to use evidence-based knowledge from the field of child development and applied behavior analysis (ABA) to meet family goals and to nurture their children. Our services include parent coaching (online or in-person) to learn how to use the techniques of ABA, behavior change (online or in-person) to understand why their child is behaving in certain ways, RUBI Parent Training (online) for families of children with ASD, and Community Based Services (San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties only) to facilitate inclusion and social skill development. We provide practical strategies to help caregivers meet the challenges of parenting and make important decisions about their child’s education.
