Have questions?

At The Monarch School, we understand how important it is to know if your child needs speech therapy. It’s critical to teach language and communication skills as early as possible and our experienced educators can help you decide if your child should be evaluated. We recommend speech therapy for autistic children since many have difficulty with social communication. Speech therapy will help your child learn effective ways to communicate and grow into more independent and confident individuals. If your child is very quiet, says only a few words, or doesn’t speak at all, you should consider looking into speech therapy. For more information, be sure to check out our comprehensive guide on speech therapy.

At The Monarch School, our speech therapists are here to help your child communicate successfully in any environment. We can help your child understand and use nonverbal skills, form speech more clearly, express thoughts and feelings, understand and answer questions, recognize facial expressions, interpret body language, and even address issues related to feeding and swallowing. All of this is done in order to make sure your child is able to communicate effectively and reach their fullest potential.
