TYAP (tee•ap) is the original and first Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment program for children with Autism in the state of Texas. Founded by Dr. Gerald Harris, who noticed the lack of available treatment services in Houston, it was established to empower and provide care to underserved communities in the area. TYAP works in collaboration with Families for Effective Autism Treatment (FEAT), and Dr. O. Ivar Lovaas, to provide ABA services, enabling children with Autism to reach their full potential. Our mission is to help children with Autism in Texas and the surrounding areas to achieve meaningful progress in their development.
