SMART Pediatric Therapy is an outpatient clinic that specializes in sensory-based occupational therapy evaluation and treatment for children ages 0-18. Our focus is on SPD (Sensory Processing Disorder) and we strive to assist children in detecting, regulating, interpreting, and executing appropriate motor and behavioral responses to sensations. We take a holistic approach to help the child achieve success in their daily activities, from playing with friends, learning at school, and completing daily routines like eating and dressing. Our aim is to provide a sensory-rich environment where the whole child (and family) can address foundational issues that lead to dysfunction in gross and fine motor skills, social interactions, handwriting, visual-motor integration, visual processing and perception, auditory processing, self-care, and school/academic challenges.
