San Diego Regional Center (SDRC) is a private non-profit agency that contracts with the California state government to provide services to individuals and families impacted by developmental disabilities in San Diego and Imperial Counties. Through SDRC, a person with a developmental disability can obtain services, access other necessary resources in the community, and create a plan that supports their choices in where they live, how and with whom they choose to spend their day, and their hopes and dreams for the future. SDRC utilizes a Person-Centered Planning approach, which involves the person utilizing the services, family members, regional center staff, and anyone else invited by the individual, to make decisions regarding their care.
