The Resource Center for Autism & Developmental Delays is a Chicago-based organization that provides a range of services and resources for families and individuals affected by autism and developmental delays. For over 30 years, the Center for Literacy, which houses the Resource Center, has been providing family literacy programming and adult education services to communities on Chicago's South and West Sides. Their work focuses on empowering families to live their best lives by offering GED programming, career and employment services, IEP/504 advocacy, professional development for educators, and resources for parents. They also provide virtual and in-person programs for teachers, caseworkers, social workers, and early childhood providers, as well as individualized volunteer management courses for community-based organizations. The Resource Center's mission is to teach families to access their strengths and connect with available resources to build thriving communities.
