The Clackamas County Children’s Commission is proud to offer Oregon Early Learning Head Start & Pre-Kindergarten Program to promote school readiness among young children from low-income families. Our program is designed to enhance the cognitive, social and emotional development of children through high-quality early learning opportunities. Oregon Pre-kindergarten (OPK) was modeled after the federal Head Start program in order to ensure that the lowest income and highest need preschool children have access to the same quality of education.
