Oasis Counseling & Enrichment, located in historic downtown Parkville, KS, has been providing quality counseling and assessment services to individuals and families in the Kansas City area since 2010. Our Founder and Chief Counselor, Darlene Weldon, graduated with her BS in Psychology and Philosophy from Texas Tech University in 1992 and her MS in Counseling Psychology from Avila in 2008. With experience as a social service worker for the state, a childbirth educator, a college psychology instructor and a substitute teacher specializing in Gifted and Special Education, Darlene brings the highest level of expertise to her clients. At Oasis Counseling & Enrichment, we strive to create an oasis of comfort, support, and understanding to help our clients find their own path to emotional wellness.
