Note-Able Music Therapy Services is a nonprofit organization that started in 1999 as a music class at the Northern Nevada Center for Independent Living. Over time, the class evolved into the performing group known as The Note-Ables. In 2003, The Note-Ables became an independent nonprofit organization due to the growing demand from the community for performances, the number of people with disabilities who wanted to participate, and the lack of other organizations providing musical opportunities for people with disabilities. Our mission is to provide music therapy and adaptive music to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities in the Northern Nevada Region.
