Ms. Gina McClellan has been helping parents navigate the special education system and understand their child’s IEP 504 Plan since 2011. Through her strategic thinking, knowledge of IDEA, and clear communication, Ms. McClellan provides skilled advocacy services on behalf of children with a wide range of abilities. She believes that special education advocacy is not only about knowing the complex laws, but also having the ability to effectively negotiate and navigate the system. Ms. McClellan is passionate about assisting parents in voicing their concerns and helping them create a vision for their child. She is committed to building an appropriate foundation for a child, which she believes is the key to an independent future. She has been empowering parents of children with all types of needs through her work as the co-chair of the Scituate Special Education Parent Advisory Council, as well as her work on the Scituate CORSE Foundation.
