Located in Fairfax, VA, the program provides a comprehensive college experience, including academics, employment, housing, and community involvement. Students take classes among all seven colleges on campus, gain valuable job skills through internships, and have the opportunity to live independently on campus with support. The program is unique in that applicants can be considered for several scholarships for students enrolling in the program. With over 700 clubs and Division I Athletics, and living in the Washington, DC area, the Mason LIFE Program offers a vibrant and diverse campus experience. The program's four key components are integrated throughout the four years: Academics, Employment, Housing, and Community Involvement. Students can earn a five-course concentration and potential minor through CEHD and six other Colleges, designed to strengthen their learning, leadership, and independence. The program's goal is to support students in developing autonomy and guide them through experiencing all that the campus has to offer.
