At Kingsbridge Heights Community Center, we provide a supportive and caring environment for those with special needs. We offer free programs for children and adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities, autism, and Down Syndrome. Our Special Needs After School Program offers Reading Buddies, Helping Hands, Best Buddies, Homework Help and Tutoring, Adapted Physical Education, Music and Dance, Games, Arts and Crafts, Gardening and Nutrition, Computer Literacy, and snacks and dinner. Additionally, our Saturday and Sunday Programs serve teens and adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, and we invite participants on recreational trips to community venues. Our goal is to create a fun and safe space for those with special needs to learn, grow, and socialize with their peers.
