They offer a variety of services and programming for students with and without special needs, including special education and related services, Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK), and child daycare. Just Kids supports families in their role as primary educators, caregivers, and decision-makers in the delivery of services. Their programs assist the community at large to recognize the similarities that all children, both those with and without disabilities, share, by their provision of integrated services and the inclusion of children with special needs in their programs. They are licensed and approved by New York State Department of Education and Health, and their services are funded through NYSED, NYDOH, and Suffolk and Nassau DOH. Just Kids is nationally recognized by the Children’s Defense Fund for providing state-of-the-art services and family support for children of all disabilities.
