Have questions?

At Eyas Landing, we understand the importance of early speech therapy for autistic children and are dedicated to helping you know if your child needs it. We provide a comprehensive guide to learn everything you need to know about speech therapy, from recognizing if a child needs it to finding the right therapist. Some signs that a child may need speech therapy include difficulty responding to questions, starting or ending a conversation, using gestures, understanding body language, and more. Through our guide, you can find the best way to help your child learn effective communication skills, so they can grow into independent and confident individuals. Rely on Eyas Landing to provide the resources you need to make the right decisions for your child.

At Eyas Landing, our team of speech therapists specialize in helping children communicate effectively and efficiently. Our speech therapists are trained to provide nonverbal skills, such as signs or gestures that help children form speech in a clearer way. In addition, they can assist children in expressing thoughts and feelings, understanding and responding to questions, discerning facial expressions and their corresponding emotions, noticing and understanding body language, and feeding and swallowing correctly. All of these skills are essential to helping your child communicate and progress in speech therapy.

At Eyas Landing, our goal is to help individuals reach their full potential through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy. ABA is a therapy rooted in the science of learning and behavior that is used to improve communication, social skills, and daily living skills. Additionally, ABA can be used to reduce problematic behaviors and promote independence. Learn more about ABA therapy with our comprehensive guide.

At Eyas Landing, we understand the importance of making an informed decision about ABA therapy for your child. We believe in the power of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and the positive impact it can have on improving communication skills, introducing productive habits, and reducing harmful behaviors. We recognize the importance of finding a high-quality ABA provider who will not seek to “cure” autism, but rather to help your child learn all that they can so they can live to their fullest potential while embracing their unique personality traits. To help you make the best decision for your family, we have created a comprehensive guide to help you start and end ABA therapy.

At Eyas Landing, our guide to ABA therapy can help you better understand the cost and coverage of ABA therapy. Generally, ABA therapy is covered by insurance if you have an autism diagnosis. However, it is important to check with your specific insurance plan to confirm that ABA is covered for your child’s diagnosis and that the provider you are seeking care from is in-network. Our guide provides you with the information you need to make an informed decision about ABA therapy and its associated costs.
