Easterseals Parent Support Group offers monthly meetings to provide parents of children with disabilities with the support they need. Through these meetings, guardianship, respite care, sexuality/disability training, make-and-take sessions, and other topics are discussed. At the start of each school year, parents are surveyed to ensure that topics that interest them are covered. Furthermore, the Parent Support Group helps form connections between families new to Easterseals Academy and provides support for those who have a new diagnosis in their family. Our group strives to help parents of children with disabilities overcome any challenges they may face.
