Dr Sabrina Rood Counseling is a private practice narrative therapy provider offering professional, supportive counseling to individuals and couples. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I am offering confidential Zoom and telephone sessions five days a week. I specialize in helping adults with Aspergers or high-functioning autism, providing diagnostic assessment and supportive narrative therapy. My master’s degree (MA) was obtained from Bethel University in 2008, and my doctoral degree (EdD) from Argosy University in 2014. My research focused on marriages of bereaved parent couples following the death of their child. I am an LGBTQ-friendly counselor and welcome clients who are specifically looking for counseling that is poly- and kink-friendly. I offer therapy to help with relationship, grief and loss, spirituality, sexuality, and self-compassion, in a respectful therapeutic relationship that can be life-affirming. With a person-centered, strengths-based approach, I will assist you in setting goals and making changes in your life.
