The City of Tucson Parks and Recreation Department strives to provide a variety of recreational activities and natural spaces for the Tucson community. Our parks are great places to get active, learn, picnic, and relax. We operate and maintain Active and Passive Recreation Parks, Natural and Cultural Resource Parks, River Parks and Greenways, Plazas, and Gardens throughout the city. Additionally, we maintain and develop undeveloped park properties for future use, and preserve Open Space properties for open space preservation. Silverlake Park is one of the many parks that we manage, offering the Tucson community many opportunities to explore and enjoy.
