At Center for Social Dynamics – Hawaii, we believe that each child has unique needs and must be treated as an individual. We understand that it’s a big decision to make for your family when considering whether or not to pursue Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for your child. That’s why we have put together a complete guide to help parents start and end ABA therapy in the most effective way. Our guide will provide you with insight into ABA and help you understand the best approach for your child. We believe that ABA should focus on improving communication skills, introducing productive habits, and reducing harmful behaviors, rather than trying to “cure” autism or make children appear “less autistic.” Above all, we want to help your child reach their potential while embracing their individual personality traits.
