The Center for Independent Living – City of Alameda is a non-profit, non-residential organization that provides a range of independent living services to the community. Our services include independent living skills, information and referral, peer support, and youth transition programs for students with IEPs (Individualized Education Plans). We are committed to helping all members of our community to live with independence, regardless of disability. Our mission is to empower individuals with disabilities to take charge of their lives and to ensure that their rights, dignity, and self-determination are respected. With our experienced staff, we strive to foster a safe and inclusive environment, so everyone can reach their full potential.
