At the Center for Cognitive and Behavioral Therapy, Dayton, our mission is to provide comprehensive diagnostic assessments and ABA treatments for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. We specialize in the use of state-of-the-art diagnostic tools such as the ADI-R, Direct Observations, the CARS, ASDS, medical and educational records reviews, and adaptive behavior scales. In addition, we are committed to implementing the Ohio Autism Project’s recommendations as soon as they become available. Our ABA treatments are tailored to each individual child and focus on teaching them language, social behaviors, and decreasing repetitive or inappropriate behaviors. By ongoing analysis of the acquisition of skills or management of behaviors, we are able to modify our teaching methods and rewards as necessary.
