Baystate Childrens Hospital (BCH) is the only accredited full-service children’s hospital in western Massachusetts. Our 107-bed and 57-bassinette hospital, located within Baystate Medical Center, provides primary and advanced medical care to babies, children, and adolescents and their families. Our services include a Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, our region’s only Emergency Department for Children, our region’s only Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center, specialty pediatric hematology and cancer care at the Sadowsky Center for Children, and a 12-bed psychiatric unit within Baystate Medical Center to care for children and teens who need inpatient behavioral health services. We also offer excellent outpatient specialty care at the Baystate Childrens Specialty Center.
