Established in 1975, ALMA Family Services is a nonprofit organization based in Los Angeles that provides comprehensive direct bilingual services for individuals with physical and/or developmental disabilities and their families. Our mission is to promote the quality of life of individuals with special needs and their families by providing quality community-based integrated support services, advocating for the rights and responsibilities of persons with special needs, and working with businesses and local, state and federal officials to increase knowledge of the abilities and contributions of individuals with special needs. Our services include therapeutic services, mental health services, after-school programs, aquatics programs, behavioral health services, family and peer support services, and support groups for consumers with special needs. We also provide medication support and field training for universities and professional schools in the greater Los Angeles area. Our multi-cultural clinical staff has expertise in working with individuals with special needs and their families.
