About Dr. Danielle Johnson

I am a licensed professional counselor in Maryland. I am committed to helping my clients find healing in a way that’s meaningful for them. My goal is to offer time and attention for intentional and reflective listening so that my clients feel heard, validated, and receive the tools necessary to find freedom from emotional hurts. Most of my clients manage substance use concerns, anxiety, depression, conflict in relationships, and adjustment difficulties. I am pursuing a counseling-related doctoral degree, and I look forward to implementing relevant skills and techniques in my practice. My specific focus areas include collegiate-age adjustment issues, harm reduction, mood and anxiety-related issues, trauma, and grief. I use a client-centered approach focused on whole-body wellness. My counseling philosophy is that wellness is a journey and everyone deserves a supportive person to journey beside them. I look forward to walking alongside you in your path toward healing and discovery.
