About Carole Kaufman

Carole is an experienced and highly effective independently licensed social worker whose ability to easily establish a warm and trusting relationship makes her uniquely qualified to treat the various mental health issues clients present. Recently retired from both a private practice and the Cleveland Clinic, where she worked in inpatient geriatric and adult psychiatry, Carole is ready and eager to resume providing counseling services to clients in need. Carole has specialized in maternal and child health and completed an intensive one year post graduate training in cognitive behavioral therapy. Additional treatment modalities include solution focused therapy, and psychodynamic therapy Areas of interest are: adjustment disorders, anxiety, mood disorders , issues of aging, sudden onset of, and/or chronic illness, separation and loss, parental guidance, issues of the “sandwich generation”.
