About Angelette (Jo) Ten Hoven

I have nearly 10 years experience working with individuals within my tri-county area in various institutional settings. Since 2013, I have been serving Allen, Auglaize and Hardin County as a volunteer, clinician, adjunct professor and Clinical Director. As a clinician, I enjoy combining experience, education, creativity and a sense of humor while working with young adults and senior citizens struggling with various mental health and substance use issues. I believe therapy is a collaborative effort in which I draw upon client strengths while utilizing multiple therapeutic techniques to create a tailored approach for each of my clients in reaching their counseling goals. Common feedback from clients is that I am down-to-earth, easy to relate to, non-judgemental, genuine and compassionate therapist seeking to help individuals overcome obstacles to move forward and thrive.
