About Alicia Lurry

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with clinical experience helping clients who struggle with anxiety, depression and trauma. I have a Masters Degree in Rehabilitation counseling and Community Inclusion that allowed me the opportunity to work for many years a population of individuals with disabilities. I am a former public school teacher. I transitioned to counseling in an effort to help help and encourage individuals on a deeper level. My approach to therapy is primarily Cognitive Behavioral. I believe there is a direct connection between our beliefs and our behaviors. My goal is to provide a safe , confidential and transparent therapeutic experience for clients seeking support. We will work collaboratively to identify goals and objectives. My role as a therapist is not to tell the client what to do but to assist the client in their own personal revelation. I look forward to working with each client and being a part of the journey to personal and emotional healing.
