Tri-County Independent Living Center, Inc. is a non-profit 501©(3) organization with a majority of persons with disabilities on its Board of Directors and staff. Founded in 1985, Tri-County’s mission is to empower citizens with disabilities in Summit, Stark, and Portage counties to be in charge of their lives and participate as members of their communities. We advocate for the elimination of societal barriers and strive to achieve community accessibility and acceptance. Our goal is to empower individuals with disabilities to live independently and be active members of their communities.
