River Edge Little League is a Little League Challenger Division, which provides adaptive baseball and softball programs for boys and girls with physical and developmental challenges. Our games are designed to be flexible, with a best practices guide to provide all chartered teams with the rules and regulations they need. Games are typically 1-2 innings long and last about an hour, while we encourage the use of traditional baseball and softball fields to give our participants the same experience as their peers. We also encourage Buddies to spread the word about assisting Challenger athletes in batting, base running and defense. At River Edge Little League, we are committed to offering an inclusive, adaptive environment that everyone can enjoy.
