Have questions?

At Resource Center for Autism & Developmental Delays, we understand how important it is to recognize when your child may benefit from speech therapy. If you are concerned that your child may need speech therapy, there are a few signs to look out for, such as difficulty responding to questions, difficulty starting or ending conversations, difficulty changing conversation topics, or difficulty understanding other people’s body language. Early intervention is key to helping children with autism learn the communication and language skills they need to grow into independent and confident individuals. Our complete guide to speech therapy can help you understand the process and ensure that your child gets the help they need.

At Resource Center for Autism & Developmental Delays, we understand that speech therapy can help children with a variety of skills. Our speech therapists can assist with nonverbal communication, forming speech, expressing thoughts and feelings, understanding questions and body language, noticing facial expressions, and feeding and swallowing. We strive to help your child communicate effectively across all environments with the use of simple signs, verbal speech, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Our team is dedicated to providing the best speech therapy for your child to help them reach their highest potential.
