At REM Iowa | Hiawatha Community Services, we have been serving adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, brain injuries, and other complex challenges since 1979. Our office oversees the operation of over 20 Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) programs in the Cedar Rapids, Hiawatha and Marion areas. Our clients primarily have diagnoses of either Mental Retardation or Brain Injury, with many having secondary diagnoses such as Autism, Schizophrenia, and Borderline Personality Disorder. We offer a variety of services, including residential services, day programs, and vocational programs.
