Established in 1962, the organization supports each person to have as independent of a life as possible through a person-centered approach to life-skills developmental programs. Loveland Center's unique approach is rooted in its 'Dare to Dream' philosophy, which encourages participants to determine their own dreams and goals for their lives and build a comprehensive plan to help them achieve those goals. The organization's staff receive a minimum of 96 hours of on-the-job training before working independently with participants. Loveland Center offers a range of programs and services, including residential and day services, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy, among others. Their goal is to provide quality care to all individuals they serve, treating them as equals at home and in their community.
