Jawonio Inc is a provider of lifespan services in New York’s Hudson Valley for people with developmental disabilities, behavioral health challenges, and chronic medical needs. Since 1947, Jawonio has been dedicated to offering support and services to individuals with special needs throughout the Lower Hudson Valley. Our goal is to provide answers to questions, solutions for those with special needs, and most importantly, opportunities for growth and independence. At Jawonio, our mission is to empower those we serve to achieve independence – “Jawonio” meaning independence – and we are proud to have achieved that in those we have worked with.
