Disability in Action is a movement that seeks to empower people with disabilities in achieving self-determination and equal opportunities. Our philosophy is that people with disabilities are just as capable as those without and should have the same choices and opportunities in everyday life. We recognize that a disability is just one part of who someone is and so we encourage people to focus on their strengths and find creative ways to overcome any barriers. We strive to promote understanding, acceptance and respect for all people, regardless of their abilities.
