Have questions?

At ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy and Education – Kentucky, we understand that it can be difficult to know if your child needs speech therapy. We provide a complete guide to help you understand what speech therapy is and when it’s necessary. Speech therapy is often recommended for autistic children, as they often struggle with social communication. If you’re unsure if your child needs speech therapy, look for signs like difficulty responding to questions, starting or ending conversations, changing conversation topics, and understanding other people’s body language. Speech therapy focuses on language and communication skills, which are critical for development. With our complete guide to speech therapy, you can make an informed decision about what’s best for your child and help them grow into independent and confident individuals.
At ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy and Education – Kentucky, our Speech Therapy team is here to help your child develop communication skills across all environments. Our Speech Therapists can help provide nonverbal skills, such as signs or gestures, help your child form speech in a clearer way, communicate thoughts and feelings clearly, understand and respond to questions, discern facial expressions and their corresponding emotions, notice and understand body language, and assist with feeding and swallowing. Stuttering is also an area our Speech Therapists can support. Our team is dedicated to helping your child reach their communication goals.
At ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, and Education – Kentucky, we are committed to providing the best Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services to our clients. Our experienced professionals use ABA principles to help individuals of all ages improve their communication skills, social skills, and daily living skills. Our ultimate goal is to support our clients in achieving independence and reducing any problematic behaviors. Learn more about ABA therapy by visiting our complete guide to everything you need to know about this vital therapy.
At ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy and Education – Kentucky, we understand the importance of making the right choice for your family. We offer a guide to help you decide if Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is the right fit for your child. Our high quality ABA therapy focuses on helping your child learn and reach their potential while embracing their unique personality traits, not “fixing” them or making them “less autistic”. We’re here to provide you with the resources and support needed to make the best decision for your family.
At ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy and Education – Kentucky, we understand the importance of ABA therapy for those with autism and other behavioral health needs. While ABA is typically covered by insurance if you have an autism diagnosis, it is important to check with your specific insurance plan to confirm that ABA is covered for your child’s diagnoses and that the provider you are seeking care at is in-network. To get a better understanding of ABA therapy costs, we have created a comprehensive guide that covers everything you need to know. Visit our website to learn more about ABA therapy and to explore the resources we have available.
