At the Center for Independent Living of South Florida, we are dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities by providing a variety of services focused around our five core offerings: individual and systems advocacy, peer support, independent living skills, information and referral, and transitions. We strive to create an environment where individuals with disabilities are given opportunities to maximize their potential, both as individuals and as part of a larger community. To this end, we recruit and train individuals with disabilities to serve on committees, alliances, coalitions, advisory boards, and boards of directors to influence disability policy and funding in our local area.
